Hi,
I am a computer programmer with 20 years experience. Cobol, C++ type of work. Then my career went off into the world of EDI data. I have worked with Mercator and ECMap for mapping of EDI data.
I would like to bolster my resume up a little. I'd like to learn SQL, VB, and .Net.
Any suggestions on on-line courses vs. classroom courses? I am more of a classroom type of learner and not only because of the discipline of showing up at the same time each week, ha ha.
I would think with a programming background, it shouldn't be too difficult to pick up SQL or VB. .Net I may want a classroom, but maybe not.
Any other suggestions would be helpful too, software to purchase, etc.
Thanks.
RR.
